Workshops

Rustic three legged stool

During the workshop you will build yourself and at the end of the day take home your own rustic three legged stool. Learn how to split, shape, drill, with only the use of hand tools. Thomas will guide you through the various stages and will have a few jigs on hand to make the day go that bit easier.

What to expect

We will start the day with tea/coffee and a background talk, green woodworking crafts,  timbers and tools we will be using during the day ahead.

Followed by demonstration on safe working practises and techniques.

Close supervision as we get started on our stools.

Stop for a light lunch before we get back to work continuing on our stools.

Finally finish the day triumphantly with our very own stool to take home.

This workshop is intended to be a relaxed small group so everyone can receive the same attention and learning experience and therefore set at a max of four people. Also as it involves sharp tools it’s an 18+ age range.

Refreshments and snacks are included but please bring some food for a light lunch.
